An Outdoors Girl at Heart

At 9000 feet elevation, we turned off Highway 165 into Rainbow Packing STation on a crisp cool Autumn afternoon. It is October 3 and I feel alive in anticipation of the hunt ahead of us.
We made the rustic cabin without electricity home for the next few days.

Photographers in masses line the long winding highway by 7 am.

Aspen Quakes stand regal in groves of thousands, dressed in their autumn gowns of orange and umber.
In such a magnificent theatre of Glory,
I sit silenced by Gods Hand on everything.

TENTING IN YELLOWSTONE

We pitched our Coleman tent in the magnificent theatre of Yellowstone.
It has been 15 years since we were last
With our children.
The natural exhibitions are tumultuous
As well as beautiful. Geysers launch plumes as high as 80 feet into the breathtakingly beautiful contrast of the brilliant blue sky.
There are hot pools created from

eruptions deep in the earth, called
Fumerals that bubble with lethal temperatures.
The colors are exquisite often crystal light turquoise.

We enjoyed our days by touristing, viewing wildlife in the mornings, fishing the streams, and i discovered a new joy in photography and video. Playing our favorite game SORRY is always fun.
On Thursday the 13th, we drove out of the Park into Montana where Jim's Family enjoyed a Caywood Reunion,

We are now on our long drive home with fond memories of our time here.

I should say at this point of our story, we are hauling a dear part of our family history back home. The Dodge Camper Van broke down in Utah where we had to leave it until our return homeward. So here we are, and now we begin driving home.

Lunch At Cafe Calypso With The Prince Of Peace

" He who dwells in the shelter of the MOST HIGH will abide in THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY. " Psalms 91

The telling of this is magnificent, the understanding of such was His Presence.
Yesterday, Monday the 7th I walked towards town to eat lunch by myself at a quaint cafe. But my heart was very heavy with anxiety.
Arriving at the cafe, I strolled inside to place my order then took a seat at a table for two in a shadowed area, cool and quiet. Barely audible and alone at the table I called out to the Lord in prayer , my voice nearly breaking.

" Lord Jesus please help me, take this burden, I cannot bear it alone, amen."

As I ate, I paused and looked around .
A sense of pleasant calm and peace
Settled me.
Leaving the Cafe I started to walk home. Something was missing , so I
Characteristically stopped on my way, unzipped my bag, checked my wallet to make sure I had not left my card, in fact I was sure I had left my cell phone or sunglasses. Everything was in my bag.
Still, something was missing.

It was my burden. Jesus took it.
I walked home with a smile and joy in my heart, I called to the Lord and He heard me.
I had indeed had lunch with
THE PRINCE OF PEACE IN THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY
Psalms 91

1peter 5:7 " Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up".

OF A PERSONAL NATURE

On this trip, I have acquired many new skills , that have helped Jim and myself.
One is videography, having captured the inductive seminars live, so to speak,, with no retakes, and capturing the enthusiasm of those participating in their language. These video clips taken in Mynmar , 3 different locations.

Have also videoed the worship in
Mynmar and Kathmandu , Nepal.

I hope to use such for our Mission table, rallying yet , those undecided towards the impact of our work and more mission partners with PTA.

I have had the pleasure of reading (audio books) 3
Books on this trip, Autobiography of
Benjamin Franklin, to wit I found not only delightful and informative, but savvy in his practical applications in life.
Next, the classic, uncle toms cabin, poignantly written.
Lastly , 1776, a Pulitzer Prize winner o
And a disturbing and profoundly well written rendition of our War for Independance.

The beginning of the year I asked the Lord to bless me in my Portrait Painting. I want to be able to depict these exotic people's in their perspective cultures for my art.
I painted from memory, a
Papuan , from Papua new Guneia
Where we were 2 years ago.

This painting will be in my South Pacific Art show this Fall.

BEAUTIFUL FEET, FEAT

" how beautiful are the feet those
Who bring Good news "

We are now on the last leg of our journey homeward. It has been a very long and beautiful journey.
Teaching young pastors how to better understand the Bible through the Inductive Method will change their lives.
While this may not be immediately of interest it becomes so when you realize that knowledge brings freedom. These Christians come out of Hinduism but
With little or no skills in understanding and applying the Bible to their lives.

Our last evening in Nepal, we were introduced to 2 soccer sports missionaries,, one who played Professionly . His name is Aaron Tredwell and he played against Manchester united David Beckham.
We had a dinner with them and a nice conversations.
In fact, he is standing next to Jim in the photos.

We are homecoming to family, stories, laugher, hugs and grandchildren.
